A safety-conscious team player that works with minimal supervision.Good written, oral, and interpersonal communications along with organizational and housekeeping skills are required.Knowledge of general, analytical, and organic chemistry with labs, physics, computer familiarity and math through college algebra.Chemical Lab experience and extensive math knowledge.A two-year Associate Degree in Chemical Technology or a science field or equivalent experience is required.Team: One shift leader and three shift technicians as part of the overall Chem Lab organization.The ability to accurately conduct many diverse instrumental and wet chemical analyses (often simultaneously that include titrations, chromatography, XRF, viscosity, Ash, pH, ICP, atomic absorption, etc), the operation of computer-controlled lab instruments and computer data entry.Normal scheduled hours are on rotating 12-hour shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays with some overtime required.
